Pierre-Olivier Colleye is a Senior Agriculture Specialist with the Food & Agriculture Global Practice of the World Bank covering Eastern and Southern Africa. His work is currently focusing on food security and the resilience of food systems in the region.
With over 25 years of experience with the World Bank, Pierre-Olivier has extensive experience in Africa, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean advising governments and/or managing operations in over 25 countries. His work and interests span agriculture development, nutrition sensitive agriculture, conflict/fragile countries, linking smallholders to market and access to finance. He holds a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Yale University.
