Pierre Xavier Bonneau, a French national, is a Lead Transport Specialist for the World Bank, focusing on the Africa West region.
Prior to this, Mr. Bonneau was the World Bank Program Leader, Sustainable Development, for Haiti.
His career has been dedicated to development, disaster risk management, transport, territorial planning and public works engineering in more than 7 countries (Brazil, French West Indies, OECS countries, Cameroon, Haiti, France).
Before joining the World Bank in 2011, Mr. Bonneau was the General Managing Director of the Roads and Transport Authority of Guadeloupe, FWI. He also held various technical and managerial positions at the Ministry for Energy, Ecology and Sustainable Development of France.
Mr. Bonneau holds a Msc and a Civil Engineering Diploma from the ENTPE, National School of Public Works, University of Lyon.
