Pilar Avendaño Antunez is a Mexican specialist in socio-environmental entrepreneurship, systems practice, and development. She studied International Relations at Universidad Anáhuac México, Philosophy at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and Innovation at UC Berkeley. With a wide background in project and stakeholder management, Pilar has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for high-impact causes, represented her country in various global forums (having participated in the World Bank Youth Summit since 2016), and co-created diverse initiatives in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. She is currently a consultant for the IDB Lab, the innovation laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank, identifying impactful projects for financial and technical support in Mexico and the LAC region.
