Pinyi Chen is a Consultant in the World Bank’s Development Prospects Group. She joined the World Bank in May 2015. She has been engaged with the Global Monitoring and Analytics’ team, contributing to the World Bank’s flagship publication Global Monitoring Report and projects about growth and policy implications of international migration and infectious disease. Prior to joining the World Bank, she has conducted research on agriculture, trade, political economy, and inequality issues. She received her MS in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, with a concentration in Development Economics.
