Piotr Pawlak is a long-term consultant for the World Bank. He is a well-published author with 10 years of experience in social development including gender and gender equality, gender-based violence and violence prevention, and engaging men and boys for social change. Piotr leads a World Bank study on SOGI-based discrimination and exclusion from access and use of economic and financial services and products in Thailand. Prior his engagement with the World Bank, Piotr has worked for UN, UNESCO, UNICEF, UN Women, USAID, and several other international organizations in Southeast Asia and globally. He is also finishing his Ph.D. focusing on the phenomenon of voluntary unemployment among young men in the Maldives.
