Pradyumna Bhattacharjee is an Education Specialist in the World Bank's Education Global Practice in the South Asia Region. He works on lending operations, advisory services, and analytical activities in school education, skills development, and higher education. His experience spans strategy, operations, research, impact measurement, program management, and technology, and he is deeply committed to applying the principles of human-centered design and systems thinking to his work. Prior to his current role, Pradyumna used to lead strategy, research, and M&E at an education non-profit. He started his career as a primary school teacher in one of Delhi’s most disadvantaged communities. He holds BS and MS degrees in Physics from the University of Delhi.
