Prajakta Chitre is an Infrastructure Finance Specialist in the Financial Structuring and PPPs team as part of the Infrastructure, PPPs and Guarantees group within the World Bank. FSP works to help member countries mobilize private capital through the assessment and mitigation of perceived government risks. Her work with the World Bank is global and spans across all infrastructure sectors including water, transport and energy. She has worked closely with colleagues across the World Bank Group and Governments in Croatia, Vietnam, Angola, Liberia, Kenya, and Malawi to name a few. Prior to the World Bank, Prajakta was with Parsons Brinckerhoff in their strategic consulting practice providing financial analysis and building financial models for both public and private clients in North America. She holds a B.Sc. In Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from The George Washington University.
