He worked as Commissioner Weaker Section Housing and MD of AP State Housing Corporation implementing the INDIRAMMA housing programme aimed at creating a ‘hut-free’ State. He worked as Director in Ministry of Textiles in Govt of India in Delhi; Director of School education; District Collector of Hyderabad and East Godavari Dts.
