Rada Naji is a Social Protection Specialist with the World Bank Group, and prior to that, she worked at UNICEF.
She has designed, overseen, and contributed to high-impact social protection and labor reforms, with a focus on cash transfers, economic inclusion, and human mobility.
Rada’s work primarily centers on the MENA region, where she has contributed to enhancing and expanding social protection systems, particularly in Jordan. She has co-authored and contributed to several assessments and reports, including studies on the adoption of digital financial services by social protection beneficiaries, gender equity in the design of the cash assistance cycle, labor market segmentation, human capital review, and linking cash assistance to human capital outcomes.
Rada holds an MSc in International Development from SOAS University of London, with her dissertation exploring the balance between human-driven and automated solutions in social protection delivery.
