Rafael has been an investment officer with IFC Advisory Services in Public-Private Partnerships for Latin America and the Caribbean since 2015, working on the structuring and implementation of PPPs in roads, education, urban mobility, and solid waste. Such projects have already secured over $5 billion in private investments throughout the respective concession agreements’ terms.
Prior to joining IFC, Rafael worked in the infrastructure sector in energy and construction companies, focused on project finance and mergers and acquisitions, as well as within the corporate finance department.
Rafael holds an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a Bachelor of Accounting from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
