Rafeef is an Urban Development Specialist with the World Bank’s Social, Rural, Urban and Resilience Global Practice, providing technical support for the Palestine program. The primary focus of her work has been on integrated urban planning, infrastructure and service delivery, land use, and housing. She has contributed to the preparation of multiple projects and analytical work for the urban program, including the first PforR in Palestine and the West Bank and Gaza-Local Government Performance Assessment. She also provides management support for the Partnership for Infrastructure Development Multi-donor Trust Fund (PID MDTF). Rafeef has a master’s degree in Building and Urban Design in Development from University College London’s Bartlett Development Planning Unit, and an undergraduate degree in Financial Management from Villanova University.
