Raíssa Simonetti is a Transport Consultant at the World Bank based in La Paz, Bolivia. She supports the country office team in various subjects such as transport infrastructures, urban mobility and environment. She joined the Bank in 2020 motivated by her yearning to transform people’s reality in developing countries through transport reforms. Raíssa holds a Civil Engineering degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and a master’s degree on Transport and Traffic Engineering from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) in Paris, France.
