Rajesh Advani is a Senior Infrastructure Specialist in the World Bank’s Water Global Practice and has worked with the World Bank for over 10 years. He is currently based in Washington D.C. and is working on the Middle East and North Africa portfolio with a strong focus on Morocco and Tunisia. Prior to that, he worked extensively on sub-Saharan Africa, and has also worked on South Asia and the Pacific Islands. Rajesh is a finance and private sector specialist with broad experience in mobilizing commercial finance for infrastructure, supporting private sector participation in infrastructure projects, and results-based financing. He has also worked with government agencies and regulators on utility performance evaluation and creditworthiness, and on decentralization in the water sector.
