A filmmaker, publisher and founder of Rattapallax films, press and magazine based in New York City, Sao Paulo and New Delhi, Ram produced, edited and directed the feature documentary The Human Tower, which was shot in India, Chile, and Spain. Recently, he produced The Russian Woodpecker, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Devineni is one of the founding partners of Academia Internacional de Cinema, the first independent film school in Brazil.Ram is the director, producer and co-writer of Priya's Shakti, a multimedia comic book project that fights gender-based sexual violence in India.
