Rama Krishnan is the Lead Public Sector Specialist, Institutions Global Practice, at the World Bank based in Jakarta, Indonesia where he leads the World Bank’s engagements on governance and institutions in Indonesia and Timor Leste. Before moving to Jakarta, he was based in Zambia as the Lead Governance Specialist and initiated and implemented several new engagements in the areas of decentralization, justice sector, social accountability and service delivery. Currently, he leads the implementation of SINERGIS Program-for-Results for strengthening intergovernmental fiscal systems in Indonesia and manages the Public Financial Management (PFM) Multi-Donor Trust Fund in Indonesia that provides support to the government to strengthen PFM, tax administration, and service delivery.
