A public health physician with over 35 years expertise in leading complex high-level dialogue on Human Development with senior policy makers. Strong operational experience in designing and supporting implementation of innovative health systems reform programs in India, Ethiopia and Kenya covering wide ranging reforms. Worked as Program Leader for a large cluster of World Bank Group Global Practices supporting lending and analytical work in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda.  Authored over 20 analytical papers/reports and prepared several policy briefs covering wide ranging areas of health systems, burden of disease and cost effectiveness of interventions, and COVID-19 containment.
