Rami Galal is an Economist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation (FCI) Global Practice, at the World Bank. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the American University in Cairo and worked for EBRD and UN-ESCWA. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of London (SOAS), an MA in Economics from the American University in Cairo, and a BSc in Economics and Philosophy from Boston University. Rami is a Research Fellow at the Economic Research Forum and is well-published in peer-reviewed journals.
