Rana Amirtahmasebi is an urban planner and architect with more than 15 years of experience in urban policy, planning, and design. She launched Eparque Urban Strategies in 2016 and works with clients on local, regional, and national levels to devise effective strategies for urban development and governance. Rana is experienced in policy analysis and program design and implementation in projects focused on economic development, urban regeneration, and settlement upgrading. Rana’s previous professional affiliations include the World Bank, Cesar Pelli and Associates, New York City Departments of Planning and Transportation; Bavand Consultants, and the Aga Khan Foundation. Rana is a native of Iran and holds graduate degrees from MIT in the United States and Azad University in Tehran, Iran.
