Mr. Rangeet Ghosh is a Senior Economist for Bangladesh, Bhutan and India posted in Bangkok, Thailand since 2022. His current work includes macroeconomic and fiscal analysis, growth and jobs diagnostics as well as climate economics. Mr. Ghosh holds master’s degrees in economics from Arizona State University, USA and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Before joining the World Bank in 2018, he spent more than 9 years as a civil servant in the Indian Government, contributing to the union budgets and macroeconomic policymaking, while working closely with the chief economic advisors to the government.
