Ravi Kumar specializes in human capital development and creating data-driven and user-centered solutions to improve lives. At the World Bank’s Development Data Group, he serves as Program Manager for the Data Academy housed in the Office of the World Bank Group Chief Statistician in Washington, D.C. The Data Academy serves as the institutional anchor for capacity development in development data and statistics.
His experience includes program and team management, digital and data strategy, research, publications, partnerships, advocacy, risk and stakeholder management across Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa, and South Asia. He has advanced degrees from Columbia University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
