Rebecca is currently based in the World Bank’s Antananarivo office, working as a Senior Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist. She joined the World Bank in 2016 as a Young Professional based in Washington DC and then worked for 3 years in our Kinshasa office. She has been working in Africa – including both Sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa – primarily on DRC, Burundi, Angola, Ghana, Ethiopia, Morocco, and Egypt and has also worked with the Water GP’s social inclusion team, on issues of citizen engagement, gender and inclusion. Rebecca also works as part of the Bank’s global urban sanitation team supporting projects across the globe and developing resources to support teams on a range of sanitation related topics – e.g., condominial sewerage, shared and public toilets, small town wastewater treatment and reuse.
