Rebecca Tapscott is a researcher for the Justice and Security Research Program (JSRP) and a PhD Candidate at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Her work examines governance and security in post-conflict environments, focusing on northern Uganda. he has researched issues of human security and development in west and east Africa for a variety of organizations including the World Bank, Catholic Relief Services, and Tostan. She has also taught on these issues at Tufts University and the Fletcher School. Tapscott's work has been recognized and supported by a variety of institutions including the London School of Economics, the Feinstein International Center, the Morris Abrams Foundation, and Harvard's Program on Negotiation.
