Rebekka Grun is Practice Leader for Human Development in Cabo Verde, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, and Senegal at the World Bank. She previously served as assistant to the World Bank's president and has worked in high-, middle-, low income and fragile countries, in Africa, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and MENA. Before joining the Bank, Rebekka advised in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and consulted in the private sector. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University College London and a lic.oec. from St. Gallen, Switzerland.
