Dr. Reda Aboutajdine is a Financial Sector Economist with the World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He has been with the World Bank since 2019. His work includes a wide range of financial sector development topics, including disaster risk financing, insurance and financial stability, with a focus on climate finance. Reda holds a PhD in economics from Ecole Polytechnique, France, and an Engineering Degree in Applied Mathematics from Telecom Paris.
