Rekha Menon is a Practice Manager for the Middle East and North Africa Region in the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice.
Joining the World Bank as a Young Professional in 1996, Rekha has over 20 years of experience as a health economist working in a wide range of countries in Middle East and North Africa, East Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Central Asia regions leading the policy dialog and engagement in Human Development and more particularly in the Health, Nutrition and Population sector. Most recently she was the Practice Manager for Health, Nutrition and Population for the South Asia region.
Prior to joining the Bank, Rekha was an Assistant Professor, Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Rekha has a PhD in Economics from Brown University.
