Rendell de Kort is a Consultant within the World Bank’s Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land Global Practice, assisting with disaster risk financing related technical assistance to Caribbean OCTs.
Based in Aruba, Rendell has acquired experience in economic research and policy in the context of Small Island Developing States as a macro-economic forecaster and researcher at the Central Bank of Aruba and a consultant in various domains, including national accounts statistics, food security, emergency procurement, data science, socioeconomics assessments and advisory to NGOs and SMEs.
Rendell holds an Msc in Development Economics from the University of Manchester, a postgraduate diploma in Economics from the University of Nottingham and a BA in International Business and Management from Inholland University of Applied Science.
