Reza Farivari is a Lead Information Officer at the World Bank in Washington DC. He manages the Data and Information Systems, as well as the Client Services and Communications teams of the Development Data Group. His teams develop the largest set of products for Open Data and handle the majority of Open Data communications. For over 30 years, Reza has been at the forefront of developing systems for the management and dissemination of statistical data and metadata. Before joining the Bank, he operated the computing center of the engineering school at George Washington University. Reza studied at the University of Maryland in College Park, and George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
