Rialda Kovacevic is a Health Specialist at the World Bank. She joined the Health Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice in 2018 and has worked on various initiatives, including the Health Systems Strengthening; COVID-19 pandemic response, including Access to Covid-19 Tools Accelerator (ACT-A) – Health Systems Connector partnership; non-communicable diseases and mental health, covering technical content, partnership and donor relationships, and co-leading Access Accelerated partnership from the World Bank side; HNP Strategy Refresh; and worked various strategic and corporate initiatives by supporting the front office of the HNP Global Director. Rialda has a Doctor of Medicine degree from American International Medical University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her primary areas of interest are preventative medicine, public health, and non-communicable diseases, including mental and behavioral health in developing and developed countries.
