Richard Hogg is currently the World Bank’s Program Leader, Afghanistan. He is former Head, UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) Kabul office (2003-2005), Head, DFID Sierra Leone (2005-8), Head, DFID Baghdad (2008-9). He was DFID’s Senior Social Development Adviser for East Africa, 1998-2003. He holds a BA (Hon) degree from Cambridge and a MA (Econ) and PhD from University of Manchester.
