Rick Emery Tsouck Ibounde is the senior economist for Cameroon at the World bank. He joined the World bank in 2004 as Economist, based in Gabon and cross supporting Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe’s Macro fiscal teams. In March 2016, he joined the Cameroon’s team as a senior country economist and has been leading the economic policy dialogue and analytical pieces to help the country recover from the 2014-2015 oil price shock. Prior joining the World bank, Mr. Tsouck Ibounde worked as Economic Advisor at the Economic Policy Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Gabon. During his career, he has gained ample experience on macro and fiscal issues, tax policy, natural resource management and trade.
Born in Gabon, Mr. Tsouck Ibounde holds a Masters in Economics from CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne in France.
