Rim Wazni joined the Education Global Practice in 2019 based in Dakar, Senegal. She provided analytical and operational support to regional higher education projects in West Africa and education program in Senegal. Prior to joining the World Bank, Rim worked with Expectation State on private sector development in the Middle East and North Africa.
Rim holds a double Bachelor in Economics and Political Studies from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Science in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Rim speaks fluent French, English and Arabic with intermediate Spanish and Portuguese.
