Robert Schlotterer is Manager, Policy & Regulations, Metals & Minerals, World Bank Group, based in Washington, D.C. He has more than 25 years of experience across development finance, private banking, infrastructure, and metals and mining.
As a member of the World Bank Group Metals & Minerals management team, he leads a global team supporting governments of resource-rich countries in all World Bank Group regions to strengthen mining sector policies, institutions, and governance, facilitate investment, and unlock the development potential of their mineral resources.
Robert has held senior technical and managerial roles across sectors and World Bank Group regions and previously worked in export and project finance, leading major international infrastructure and financing transactions.
