Robert Whyte is the World Bank Group’s senior specialist in the area of investment promotion. With some 30 years experience in foreign investment promotion and regional economic development, he currently advises on a global program of investment policy and promotion projects covering technical advice programs in some 25 countries around the world, including such diverse countries as Brazil, India, Bangladesh, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Trinidad and Tobago and others. He is also a specialist in sub-national economic development and a Visiting Fellow in International Business at Strathclyde University Business School in Glasgow, Scotland.
