Rochelle Johnson is an Energy Specialist at the World Bank, supporting the energy transition in the Caribbean. Prior to joining the World Bank, she served as an Energy Researcher and Project Coordinator Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) based in Jamaica. During her tenure at the IDB, her portfolio included managing a US$40 million energy management and efficiency program, developed the National Electricity Loss Reduction Plan, and advanced the E-Mobility Strategic Framework and agendas for Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Guyana. She holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of the West Indies (Mona) and is a certified Project Management Professional and Sustainability and Climate Risk. Additionally, she is an active member of the RMI Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Program.
