Rodica Tomescu-Olariu is a community manager, part of the integrated community managers’ team within the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice at the World Bank, based in Washington DC. She is currently supporting five Global Solutions Groups, on different topics, including Urban Poverty and Housing, City Management, Governance and Finance, Land and Geospatial, Social Sustainability and Standards and Community Driven Development. An international development specialist and diplomat by training, she was a member of the Romanian Foreign Service before joining the World Bank in 2014. Rodica holds an M.A. degree in International Relations and Development from George Washington University.
