Rodrigo Donoso Arias works as a Disaster Risk Management Specialist in the Latin America and Caribbean Region based in Washington with more than ten years of relevant experience as DRM and Urban Resilience expert. His current work combines managing lending and ASA projects on municipal and urban resilience development along with delivering analytical products to support client countries including Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Grenada. Prior joining the World Bank in 2017, he led and participated on several DRM/Climate Change Adaptation and Land Use Planning projects of recognized institutions from national and local agencies including the Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Education in Chile and local governments in Mexico and Chile, among others. Rodrigo graduated as a Construction Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile and holds a MSc. In Project Management from Northwestern University of Chicago in USA
