Roku Fukui works with the World Bank Group’s Digital Development Global Practice. At the Bank, Roku focuses on various aspects of digital development, including digital infrastructure, digital platforms, and digital skills. He is particularly interested in the way technology is shaping the world and in applying innovative technologies and policy solutions to solve development challenges. Roku received his MA in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He is a striving vegetarian, a mediocre drummer, and some would say an adroit cryptocurrency investor. He likes to philosophize about the future of humanity.
