Romawaty Sinaga is a results-oriented development management specialist with extensive skills in research, project management (operations), policy development, and influencing. Roma’s analytical, writing, monitoring, and evaluation skills are her strong suits which have assisted her in supporting World Bank projects.
Romawaty has worked with the Bank since 2010, and has led one of the Bank’s largest grants supported by several development partners for more than a decade. As part of this grant, Roma is involved in high-level dialogues with key ministries, including Indonesia's Ministry of Finance, and development cooperation heads.
Roma has built her expertise and skills on Gender Equality, Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting (GRB) within the Public Financial Management (PFM) Reform Agenda. Roma is currently leading the gender responsive PFM where she works with clients to address the implementation challenges of GRB, thus enabling PFM help promote gender equality. Previously, Roma worked with the Asia Foundation, and led projects on good governance reform agenda as well as local government index.
