Ronald joined the Bank in 2018 as a consultant and started working on poverty monitoring in Bolivia and Peru, and supporting the regional COVID high frequency survey effort for LAC. He has co-authored the Peru Gender Based Violence report and the Bolivia Poverty Assessment. He has also worked on the micro-simulations impact of the COVID-19 crisis in both countries and is currently supporting the Systematic Country Diagnostic team for Bolivia and the Country Private Sector Diagnostic in Peru.
Before joining the World Bank, Ronald worked at the Ministry of Economics and Finance of Peru and was responsible for the baseline analysis of the impact evaluation of the Rural Water Sanitation Program and other projects related to social welfare programs. He is also a lecturer of Applied Statistics at Universidad del Pacifico (Lima). Ronald holds a M.A. in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico.
