Rosa Maria Martinez is a Senior Social Development Specialist at the World Bank. She has worked on issues related to social inclusion, including disability inclusion, gender, and conflict and fragility in both Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean Regions. Before moving the LAC region to be based in Mexico City, Rosa Maria participated and led the preparations of operations related to gender empowerment and analytical pieces on social inclusion and social risk management in Nigeria. Rosa Maria holds a master’s degree in Human Geography from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Externado University in Colombia.
