Rosie McGee is Research and Evidence (R&E) Programme Coordinator, based at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) in the UK. She leads the development of the Making All Voices Count R&E intellectual agenda and strategy. Rosie is a scholar-activist trained in interdisciplinary Development Studies. She has alternated between academic and teaching roles at IDS and various development practitioner roles in the international NGO sector. She led a ‘Review of the Impact and Effectiveness of Transparency and Accountability Initiatives’ with John Gaventa in 2011, commissioned by the TAI. Earlier in her career, Rosie managed a human rights and accountable governance programme for Christian Aid in Colombia.
