Rostand Tchouakam Mbouendeu is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Montreal. He holds a degree from the Sub-Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISSEA), class of 2021. Since graduating, he has been working as a Short-Term Consultant (STC) with the World Bank, where he has contributed to several poverty measurement initiatives, including the construction of welfare aggregates and participation in Quality Enhancement Reviews. He continues to support the World Bank part-time alongside his doctoral studies.
