Ruth Charo is a Senior Education Specialist in the Education Global Practice of the World Bank. She has worked on Education and Health operations for over 18 years mainly in the East Africa region. She currently leads and co-leads a number of national and regional operations in Education, and led analytical work to inform reforms in Higher Education in Kenya. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Kenyatta University, a MSc in Public Health and Epidemiology from Kenyatta University, and a Master of Arts in Education (M.A. Ed) from University of London.
