Ruth is a Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist working in the Water Global Practice at the World Bank. She has been working in Africa- including both Sub-Saharan Africa and West Africa. She also works as part of the Bank’s global urban sanitation team supporting projects across the globe and developing resources to support teams on a range of sanitation related topics. She joined the World Bank as a Young Professional in 2015, where she started in the Environment and Natural Resources GP. She is a Civil Engineer by training and has a Masters and PhD in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University, UK.
