Ruxandra Floroiu has significant experience as an environmental management professional with over 23 years of solid academic and technical background in pollution and environment risk management. She is currently a Lead Environment Specialist at the World Bank in HQ for Western and Central Africa ENV Department team, where she oversees the coordination of the environmental standards portfolio and provides risk management advice and support to teams and Sr management in the Western and Central Africa region. In addition, she is the focal point for the environmental pollution management in this region and is leading the institutional strengthening of the national environmental standards for Nigeria as task leader in this area for the SPESSE operation.
