Ruyi Li is a consultant at the Water Global Practice, Water in Agriculture Global Solutions Group (WiA GSG). In this role she has worked on multiple analytical exercises including irrigation financing in developing countries, farmer-led irrigation development and climate-smart rice. She is also a team member of the active irrigation and drainage portfolio review, aiming to enhance targeted operational support. Ruyi joined the Bank in 2021. Prior to the Bank, she was a research analyst at the Woodrow Wilson Center and a research assistant at the Institute of International Finance. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with an M.A. in Energy, Resources & Environment and International Economics.
