Ryoko Sato is a Junior Professional Officer at the World Bank (Poverty and Equity Global Practice). Her work includes evaluating the determinants of malnutrition in African countries and identifying vulnerable populations using secondary data. Her research has been focused on evaluating barriers to and incentives for health behaviors through field experiments in developing and developed countries, as well as through secondary data analysis. She holds Ph.D in Economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She was a postdoc research fellow at National University of Singapore before joining the World Bank.
