Samuel Oguah is a Senior Energy Specialist with the World Bank based in Luanda, Angola. He has over 18 years of professional experience with utilities and the power sector in Africa and Central Asia. Since joining the World Bank in 2012, he has worked on various power system issues including the techno-economic analysis of power sector projects, optimization of power system operation, long-term generation expansion planning, as well as resilience and climate impacts in energy systems. He currently coordinates the World Bank energy program in Angola and Sao Tome.
