Economist

Sally Murray is an Economist with the World Bank’s Urban, Resilience, and Land Global Department. She worked with the World Bank as a consultant from 2018, and joined as a Young Professional in 2020. Her recent work has focused on economic geography, subnational finance, urban housing, and cities and climate change. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was Senior Country Economist for the International Growth Centre (IGC) in Rwanda. She holds an MSc in International Development (Research) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in Philosophy, Political, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford.
