Sam Hill is a Senior Economist in the Prospects Group of the World Bank where he works on global surveillance issues, including the flagship Global Economic Prospects report. Sam has extensive experience in economic forecasting and providing economic policy advice, and research interests in fiscal policy and productivity. Previously, he was at the Asian Development Bank, and the Australian Department of Treasury, where he managed a variety of teams. Earlier, he worked at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University.
